Wholesale fruit liquid candy manufacturers

When sourcing liquid candy, the most critical factors are Brix level (sugar content), viscosity, and flavor profile. High-quality liquid candy should have a consistent texture that does not crystallize over time. Ensure the supplier uses food-grade citric acid for tartness and natural fruit concentrates where possible to enhance marketability. Always request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch to verify the absence of heavy metals and contaminants.

Compliance is non-negotiable in the food industry. Suppliers must hold HACCP or ISO 22000 certifications to ensure food safety management. For the US market, FDA registration and FSMA compliance are mandatory. For the EU, ensure all food colorings (E-numbers) are approved and that the product meets REACH and EFSA standards. Additionally, check if the product requires Halal or Kosher certification based on your target consumer demographic.

Liquid candy is prone to leakage and spoilage. Ensure the primary packaging (tubes, spray bottles, or squeeze pouches) uses BPA-free, food-grade plastics. The seals must undergo vacuum leak testing and pressure tests to withstand altitude changes during air freight. For bulk shipping, use double-corrugated export cartons with internal dividers to prevent friction and breakage during transit.

Most fruit liquid candies have a shelf life of 12 to 24 months. You should verify that the production date and expiration date are clearly printed on each unit. Storage should be in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading or flavor degradation. If shipping to tropical regions, ensure the formulation includes stabilizers that prevent fermentation at higher temperatures.

Always utilize third-party pre-shipment inspections (PSI). Agencies like SGS or Intertek can perform random sampling to check for taste, color consistency, and packaging integrity. Never release the final 70% payment until the inspection report is approved. For new suppliers on Made-in-China.com, prioritize those with the 'Audited Supplier' badge to ensure their manufacturing facilities have been physically verified.

Focus on Volume-Based Pricing and OEM Customization. Most factories offer significant discounts for Full Container Loads (FCL) compared to Less than Container Loads (LCL). Negotiate for free private labeling (OEM) if your order meets their MOQ (usually 500-1000 cartons). Also, request 2% extra packaging materials free of charge to account for any minor damages during local distribution.

Due to the weight and liquid nature, Sea Freight (FCL) is the most economical choice. However, ensure the shipping line provides food-grade containers. Avoid shipping during extreme peak summer months if the product is sensitive to heat, or opt for reefer containers if the budget allows. Ensure your freight forwarder is experienced in Customs Clearance for food items, as missing health certificates can lead to expensive port storage fees.

Use Secured Payment services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your funds. Avoid direct wire transfers to private bank accounts. Ensure the Proforma Invoice (PI) clearly states the Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF), detailed product specifications, and the agreed-upon lead time. Any deviation from the sample quality should be listed as a ground for a refund in the contract.
