Soaking tank manufacturers

For industrial applications, Grade 304 or 316L Stainless Steel is the industry standard due to its superior corrosion resistance and durability. The tank wall thickness should typically be at least 2.0mm to 3.0mm to prevent warping under high temperatures or heavy chemical loads. If the tank is used for food processing, ensure it meets food-grade certification and features seamless welding to prevent bacterial growth.

If your process requires heat, prioritize tanks with integrated immersion heaters and digital temperature controllers that offer a range of 30°C to 110°C. For cleaning applications (like decarbonizing or degreasing), a built-in filtration system is essential to extend the life of the soaking solution. Look for heavy-duty pumps and removable stainless steel filters that allow for easy maintenance without draining the entire tank.

Ensure the equipment carries the CE Mark for European markets or UL/CSA certification for North America to guarantee electrical safety. For pressurized soaking tanks, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code compliance is mandatory. Additionally, look for features like insulated double-walls to prevent operator burns and lockable casters for mobile units to ensure stability during operation.

Commercial Kitchens use them for removing carbon buildup from trays and filters; Automotive Workshops utilize them for engine part degreasing; and Textile Industries use them for dyeing or chemical treatment. For high-efficiency cleaning, consider Ultrasonic Soaking Tanks, which use high-frequency sound waves to clean intricate parts that manual soaking cannot reach.

Always request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) conducted by a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek. Specifically, ask for a leakage test report (filling the tank with water for 24 hours) and a material composition analysis (PMI test) to verify the stainless steel grade. Using Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services can also protect your payment until the goods are verified.

Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for spare parts kits (such as extra heating elements or gaskets) to be included in the initial price. For bulk orders, aim for a 10-15% discount or request the supplier to upgrade the warranty period to 24 months to ensure long-term reliability.

Soaking tanks are often bulky; therefore, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical method. Ensure the supplier uses fumigated wooden crate packaging with internal shock-absorption materials. Clarify the Incoterms clearly—FOB (Free On Board) is generally preferred for buyers who have their own freight forwarders to better control shipping costs and timelines.

Before finalizing the order, confirm the Voltage (e.g., 110V, 220V, 380V) and Frequency (50Hz/60Hz) requirements. Request the supplier to provide the correct industrial plug type for your region. Failure to align these specs can lead to motor burnout or the need for expensive industrial transformers.
