Sex manufacturers

B2B buyers must ensure products meet stringent safety regulations. For electronic items (vibrators/massagers), CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications are mandatory for EU and US markets. For topical products or lubricants, compliance with FDA (Class II medical device for the US) or Medical Device Regulation (MDR) in the EU is essential. Always verify that materials are medical-grade silicone, phthalate-free, and BPA-free to ensure user safety and avoid customs seizures.

Prioritize suppliers who provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and third-party lab reports (such as SGS or Intertek). For silicone products, perform a 'twist test'—if white streaks appear, the material likely contains cheap fillers. Ensure all textiles used in lingerie or accessories meet OEKO-TEX Standard 100 to guarantee they are free from harmful chemicals.

Focus on battery longevity (Lithium-ion vs. AAA), waterproofing ratings (IPX7 is the industry standard), and noise levels (ideally below 50dB). For smart devices, confirm Bluetooth connectivity stability and app compatibility. Requesting a sample for motor durability testing is highly recommended to ensure the product can withstand at least 50-100 hours of continuous operation.

Yes, most professional manufacturers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM services. This includes customized logo printing (laser engraving or silk screen), bespoke packaging design, and even mold development for unique shapes. Be prepared for higher MOQs (typically 500-1000 units) when requesting custom molds or specialized pantone colors.

Sexual wellness products are often subject to 'decency' laws in certain regions (e.g., Middle East or parts of SE Asia). Use discreet packaging and ensure HS Codes (typically 9019.10 or 3926.90) are accurately declared. Avoid using explicit imagery on outer shipping cartons. Partnering with a freight forwarder experienced in 'sensitive goods' is a strategic move to navigate complex customs landscapes.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your payments. Before placing a bulk order, conduct a factory audit or hire a third-party inspector to verify the supplier's ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 (Medical Devices) status. Never wire full payments upfront; a 30/70 payment structure (30% deposit, 70% after QC inspection but before shipping) is the industry standard.

For high-value, low-volume orders, air express (DHL/FedEx) is preferred for speed and tracking. For bulk inventory, sea freight is more economical but requires careful moisture-proof packaging to protect electronic components. Ensure the supplier uses neutral outer boxes without branding to maintain privacy and reduce the risk of theft during transit.
