Kid trampoline manufacturers

Safety is the paramount concern for children's products. You must ensure the supplier complies with ASTM F381-16 (Standard Safety Specification for Components, Assembly, Use, and Labeling of Consumer Trampolines) for the US market, or EN 71-14 for the European market. Additionally, verify that the materials are BPA-free and lead-free, complying with CPSIA or REACH regulations to ensure chemical safety for children.

Focus on the frame material, which should be galvanized steel with a thickness of at least 1.2mm to 1.5mm to prevent rusting and structural failure. The jumping mat should be made of high-density UV-resistant Polypropylene (PP). For the safety enclosure, prioritize PE (Polyethylene) mesh with a small hole size to prevent finger entrapment, and ensure the safety pad covering the springs is at least 15mm thick EPE foam with a waterproof PVC cover.

For toddlers (ages 3-6), a mini-trampoline with a handlebar and a weight capacity of 50-100 lbs is standard. For older children, look for outdoor models with a static weight limit of 250-400 lbs. Ensure the design features U-shaped legs or W-shaped legs, as these provide superior ground contact and prevent tipping during high-energy use.

Most professional manufacturers on Made-in-China.com offer customized logo printing on the jumping mat or safety padding. You can also request custom color schemes for the safety net poles and pads. For high-volume orders, you may negotiate bespoke packaging designs (color boxes) and the inclusion of value-added accessories like basketball hoops, ladders, or shoe storage bags.

The biggest risk is structural safety failure which can lead to legal liability. Always request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to check weld quality and spring tension. Another risk is high shipping costs due to the bulky nature of the product; ensure the supplier uses compact KD (Knock-Down) packaging to optimize container space and reduce freight expenses.

Do not negotiate on price alone, as this often leads to suppliers using thinner steel or lower-grade netting. Instead, link payment milestones to quality inspections. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service to protect your funds until the goods pass a third-party quality check. Ask for a 1-2 year warranty on the frame and at least 6 months on wearable parts like the safety net and mat.

Trampolines are often classified under HS Code 950691 (General physical exercise equipment). Be aware that some regions may impose anti-dumping duties on steel products. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed assembly manual in the destination language and all necessary warning labels required by local customs to avoid clearance delays.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have undergone on-site factory inspections. Check if the factory has ISO 9001 certification and ask for test reports from reputable labs like SGS, TUV, or Intertek. A credible supplier should be able to provide a track record of exports to your target market, proving they understand your local compliance landscape.
