Jetour part manufacturers

When sourcing Jetour parts, buyers must distinguish between Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Genuine, and Aftermarket parts. Genuine parts come in branded packaging with traceable anti-counterfeit labels. To ensure 100% compatibility, always provide the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the supplier. For critical components like engine assemblies or sensors, prioritize suppliers who can provide technical drawings or part number cross-references to avoid costly installation mismatches.

Reliable suppliers should adhere to the IATF 16949:2016 quality management system, which is the global standard for the automotive industry. For electronic components, look for CE or E-Mark certification. If you are importing into specific markets, ensure compliance with local standards such as DOT (USA) or GCC (Middle East). Requesting material analysis reports and durability test results (e.g., salt spray tests for exterior trim) is highly recommended for bulk procurement.

For distributors, focusing on high-turnover items is essential for cash flow. Key categories include filtration systems (oil, air, and cabin filters), braking components (pads and discs), and suspension parts (shock absorbers and control arms). Additionally, due to the sleek design of Jetour models like the X70 or X90, body parts such as bumpers, headlamps, and grilles are frequently requested for accident repairs. Ensure your supplier offers consolidated shipping for mixed SKU orders.

A professional B2B supplier should provide comprehensive electronic parts catalogs (EPC) and installation guidance. Evaluate their warranty policy; industry leaders typically offer 12 to 24 months warranty on major mechanical parts. Check if the supplier has a dedicated technical team capable of troubleshooting via video call or providing detailed O&M manuals in English or the local language of your target market.

The most significant risks include shipping damage to fragile body parts and customs clearance delays due to improper documentation. To mitigate these, require reinforced wooden crate packaging for glass or large panels. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed Packing List and Commercial Invoice that matches the HS Codes for automotive parts to prevent seizures or heavy fines at customs.

Utilize secure payment methods and look for suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have undergone audited supplier verification. Conduct a third-party pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to verify quantity and quality before the final balance is paid. Avoid transferring funds to personal accounts; always use corporate bank accounts verified by the platform to ensure transaction security.

For urgent, small-scale needs (e.g., sensors or ECUs), Air Express (DHL/FedEx) is best. For regular inventory replenishment, Less than Container Load (LCL) or Full Container Load (FCL) via sea freight is the most cost-effective. For bulky but light items like bumpers, consider Sea-Air multimodal transport to balance cost and speed. Always clarify Incoterms (typically FOB or CIF) to define where the risk transfers from seller to buyer.

Negotiation should focus on Annual Purchase Volume (APV) rather than single-order price. Offer to become a regional agent in exchange for exclusive pricing or marketing rebates. Requesting a 2-5% defect allowance (extra units provided free of charge) is a common industry practice to cover minor transit damages or manufacturing flaws without needing to process individual returns.
