Ground pools manufacturers

For Above-Ground Pools, prioritize heavy-duty PVC with a thickness of at least 0.5mm to 0.8mm, reinforced with a polyester mesh (3-layer Tritech or similar). For the structural frame, ensure the use of corrosion-resistant galvanized steel with a powder-coated finish to prevent rust. If sourcing In-ground Pool liners, verify the mil thickness (20-30 mil) and UV-resistance ratings to ensure longevity against sun exposure and chemical degradation.

Products must adhere to EN 16582 (European standard for domestic swimming pools) or ASTM F2666 (U.S. standard for small pools). Ensure the filtration systems are CE, GS, or UL certified. For the chemical safety of the liners, verify compliance with REACH (EU) or CPSIA (US) to ensure the absence of harmful phthalates and lead.

Check the Flow Rate (GPH/LPH) to ensure the pump can cycle the entire pool volume every 4 to 6 hours. For high-end markets, prefer Sand Filters over cartridge filters due to their lower maintenance costs and superior filtration (20-40 microns). Ensure the voltage and plug types (110V vs 220V) are compatible with your target market's electrical grid.

Ground pools are increasingly used in eco-resorts, temporary event venues, and residential backyards. Functional requirements include integrated drainage valves for easy water removal, reinforced T-connectors to prevent frame buckling, and anti-microbial treated liners to inhibit algae growth. For luxury segments, look for wood-grain or stone-effect exterior prints to enhance aesthetic appeal.

The main risks include high volumetric weight charges and liner damage during transit. To mitigate this, request double-walled corrugated export packaging and ensure the supplier uses palletization for frame components. Always include puncture repair kits in the bulk order to handle minor shipping abrasions.

Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until delivery is confirmed. Negotiate a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment against the Bill of Lading (B/L). Request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third party like SGS or Intertek to verify the seam welding quality and component count before the container is sealed.

Due to the weight of steel frames and water pumps, Sea Freight (FCL - Full Container Load) is the most economical method. For the US and Europe, ensure the supplier provides a Harmonized System (HS) Code (typically 950699) to accurately calculate Anti-Dumping Duties or specific tariffs. Consider DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms if you lack a local customs broker, as pools often face strict import scrutiny.

Look for Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have undergone on-site factory inspections. Check for a minimum of 5 years of export experience and ask for UV-aging test reports for the PVC materials. A reliable supplier should offer a 1-2 year warranty on the frame and at least 6 months on the liner and pump.
