B2B buyers must prioritize medical-grade silicone, phthalate-free PVC, and ABS plastics. It is critical to verify that products comply with REACH (EU) or California Proposition 65 (US) to ensure they are free from harmful chemicals. Always request Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and RoHS certification to guarantee the safety of body-safe materials.

Focus on battery safety and longevity, specifically looking for UN38.3 certification for lithium batteries. Ensure the product has an IPX7 waterproof rating if intended for versatile use. Additionally, check for noise levels (typically <50dB) and motor vibration modes to meet consumer expectations for discretion and functionality.

For the US market, products must meet FDA registration requirements if classified as medical devices, and FCC for wireless components. For the European market, CE marking and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) compliance are mandatory. Failure to provide these documents can lead to customs seizures and legal liabilities.

Request third-party inspection reports focusing on tensile strength for silicone parts and cycle testing for internal motors. A reputable supplier should offer a defect rate of less than 1% and provide a 12-month warranty on electronic components. For bulk orders, conducting a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) is highly recommended.

Use neutral packaging without explicit images or text to avoid unnecessary scrutiny. Ensure the HS Code (typically 9019.10 or 3926.90) is accurately declared. Be aware that some regions have strict morality laws; always verify the legality of specific designs in the destination country to prevent confiscation by customs.

Start by requesting a sample order to verify quality before committing to a High-Volume MOQ. Negotiate for tiered pricing where the unit cost drops by 15-25% as volume increases. Use the Audit Reports available on Made-in-China.com to verify the supplier's manufacturing capacity and export history.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after the buyer confirms receipt of goods. Avoid direct wire transfers to unknown accounts; instead, use Letter of Credit (L/C) for large-scale transactions or Escrow services to mitigate the risk of payment fraud.

For small to medium batches, Air Express (DHL/FedEx) with discreet billing is preferred for speed. For large-scale distribution, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL) is more cost-effective. Ensure the logistics provider is experienced in handling battery-operated goods, as these are classified as Dangerous Goods (DG) and require specific documentation like Battery Test Summaries.
