Drink covers manufacturers

Since drink covers come into direct contact with beverages, they must be made from Food-Grade Silicone or BPA-free plastics. For fabric-based 'scrunchie' style covers, ensure they are washable and reusable without losing elasticity. Always verify compliance with FDA (U.S.) or LFGB (EU) food contact regulations to ensure no harmful chemicals leach into the drink.

The primary function is prevention. Look for designs that provide a snug fit over various glass sizes (from slim highballs to wide wine glasses). For fabric covers, the straw hole should be reinforced to prevent tearing and sized to fit standard eco-friendly straws. High-quality suppliers on Made-in-China.com often provide stretch-test data to prove the cover won't slip off easily.

Drink covers are excellent promotional items. You should look for suppliers offering silk-screen printing or heat transfer for logos. For silicone lids, custom Pantone color matching is standard for orders over 1,000 units. Ensure the supplier uses eco-friendly, non-toxic inks that won't peel after multiple washes.

The target markets include nightclubs, bars, music festivals, and university campuses focusing on safety. Additionally, outdoor dining establishments use solid silicone lids to prevent insects and debris from entering drinks. Identifying your specific use case helps in choosing between disposable paper stickers, reusable fabric scrunchies, or durable silicone lids.

Request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to verify that the material matches the approved sample. For large orders, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service to ensure payment is only released after the goods meet the agreed-upon quality standards. Always ask for a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the raw materials used.

Because drink covers are lightweight and low-volume, Air Freight or International Express (DHL/FedEx) is cost-effective for small batches (under 100kg). For bulk wholesale orders, Sea Freight (LCL - Less than Container Load) significantly reduces the per-unit landed cost. Ensure your supplier provides compact vacuum packaging to minimize dimensional weight charges.

Standard MOQs for stock items are often as low as 50-100 units, but custom-branded orders typically require 500-1,000 units. Negotiate based on annual volume rather than a single order to secure a 10-15% discount. Mention that you are evaluating multiple audited suppliers on Made-in-China.com to encourage competitive pricing.

Ensure the design does not infringe on existing patents, especially for 'scrunchie-to-cover' hybrid designs. If you provide a custom design, sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Verify that the supplier has the right to export and provides all necessary Customs Harmonized System (HS) codes (typically under 3924.10 for plastic kitchenware) to avoid clearance delays.
