Dive light torch manufacturers

When evaluating dive lights, prioritize the Lumen output (brightness) and Beam Angle. For technical diving, a narrow beam (5-10 degrees) is essential for signaling, while recreational photography requires a wide beam (100+ degrees). Ensure the light uses high-quality LEDs like CREE or Luminus for color consistency. Additionally, check the Color Rendering Index (CRI); a CRI ≥ 90 is critical for underwater videography to restore natural colors lost at depth.

A professional dive torch must have an IPX8 rating or higher. You should demand pressure test reports confirming the device can withstand depths of at least 100 meters (10 ATM). Look for designs featuring double or triple O-ring seals and magnetic switches, as mechanical buttons are prone to leaking under high pressure. Verify that the housing is made of AL6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with a Type III hard-anodized finish to prevent saltwater corrosion.

Since most dive lights use high-capacity Lithium-ion batteries, they must comply with UN38.3 certification for safe air transport. For the European market, CE and RoHS certifications are mandatory. Ensure the torch has integrated Over-heat protection (to prevent damage when used at the surface) and Low-voltage warning systems to ensure the diver is not left in the dark unexpectedly.

The primary risk involves Lithium Battery Regulations. Dive torches are classified as Dangerous Goods (UN3481) if the battery is inside the device. You must ensure the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Safe Transport Report. Failure to provide these will lead to customs seizures or airline rejection. For large orders, consider sea freight with DG (Dangerous Goods) containers to reduce costs.

Always look for 'Audited Suppliers' on Made-in-China.com to ensure the factory has been verified by third-party agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Before placing a bulk order, request a golden sample and conduct a salt spray test and a hyperbaric chamber test. Use Secured Trading Services to ensure payment is only released after the goods pass a pre-shipment inspection.

Focus on Warranty Terms and Spare Parts. Negotiate for a 1-2% FOC (Free of Charge) spare parts kit, including extra O-rings and lubricant. Discuss OEM/ODM branding early; many top-tier manufacturers on Made-in-China.com offer laser-engraved logos for MOQs as low as 50-100 units. For long-term partnerships, request price protection clauses against fluctuations in aluminum raw material costs.
