Computer screen protector manufacturers

There are three primary materials: PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), which is thin and offers basic scratch resistance; TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), known for its 'self-healing' properties and impact absorption; and Tempered Glass, which provides the highest level of hardness (9H) and clarity but is less flexible. For B2B sourcing, Tempered Glass is preferred for high-end laptops, while PET/TPU is more cost-effective for bulk office deployments.

Buyers should prioritize Blue Light Filtering (Anti-Blue Light) to reduce eye strain for long-term users and Anti-Glare (Matte Finish) coatings to minimize reflections in brightly lit offices. Additionally, Privacy Filters (Micro-louver technology) are essential for financial or legal sectors to restrict viewing angles to +/- 30 degrees, ensuring data security.

Ensure the products meet RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and REACH standards to guarantee they are free from toxic chemicals. For blue light blockers, request SGS or TÜV Rheinland certification to validate the actual percentage of high-energy visible (HEV) light filtered. Quality checks should include a Ball Drop Test for tempered glass and a Cross-Cut Adhesion Test for the silicone adhesive layer.

Specify the Aspect Ratio (e.g., 16:9, 16:10, or 3:2) and the exact diagonal measurement in inches. For 'edge-to-edge' designs, provide CAD drawings to the supplier to ensure precise cutouts for webcams and sensors. For MacBook or specialized monitors, verify if the protector uses Magnetic Attachment or Removable Adhesive Strips for easier installation.

The biggest risk is physical damage during transit, especially for tempered glass. Mitigate this by insisting on Drop-Tested Retail Packaging and Reinforced Outer Cartons. Another risk is adhesive degradation due to high temperatures in shipping containers; ensure the supplier uses high-quality Japanese or Korean silicone adhesives that withstand temperature fluctuations.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on volume; for orders exceeding 5,000 units, aim for a 15-25% discount compared to the sample price. Negotiate for OEM/Private Labeling services, such as custom-branded cleaning kits and installation frames, which add significant retail value at a low marginal cost. Always request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to be conducted by a third party.

Screen protectors are lightweight but high-volume. Use Sea Freight (LCL) for large stock orders to minimize costs, or Air Express for urgent high-value privacy filters. Ensure the HS Code (typically 3926.90) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays. For US-bound goods, check for any Section 301 tariffs that may apply to plastic or glass components.

Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to ensure payments are only released after you confirm receipt and quality. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. For new suppliers, start with a Sample Order to verify the 'bubble-free' installation claims and the accuracy of the dimensions before committing to a full production run.
