Cell phone manufacturers

When selecting cell phones, prioritize the Processor (Chipset), such as Snapdragon or MediaTek series, to ensure smooth performance. Verify RAM and Storage capacity (e.g., 8GB/128GB minimum for mid-range) and Battery Health/Capacity (at least 4500mAh-5000mAh). For display, check for AMOLED or high-refresh-rate LCDs. Ensure the Camera Resolution and sensor quality meet current market demands for high-definition photography.

Compliance is critical for customs clearance. For the US market, FCC certification is mandatory. For the EU, ensure products have CE marking and comply with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and WEEE directives. Additionally, verify UN38.3 certification for the lithium batteries to ensure they are safe for air and sea transport.

Confirm that the devices support the specific 4G LTE and 5G bands used by carriers in your target country. Request a Network Band List from the supplier. It is highly recommended to source Global Version devices rather than regional variants to ensure pre-installed Google Mobile Services (GMS) and multi-language support.

Request a Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) focusing on the Screen Dead Pixel Test, Battery Cycle Count, and Signal Strength Stability. Ensure the supplier uses IMEI tracking for every unit. For refurbished or used phones, insist on a Grade A/B/C classification standard and a detailed functional diagnostic report for each device.

The most significant risks include Intellectual Property (IP) infringement (counterfeit brands), battery safety hazards, and hidden software locks (ID/Cloud locks). To mitigate these, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services and only work with Audited Suppliers who can provide verifiable factory videos and business licenses.

Electronics margins are thin, so focus on Tiered Pricing based on volume. Negotiate for 1-2% spare parts (screens, batteries) to be included in the order to cover DOA (Dead on Arrival) units. For initial orders, request a lower MOQ for sample testing before committing to a full container or large batch.

Cell phones contain lithium batteries, which are classified as Dangerous Goods (DG). You must use a freight forwarder experienced in Class 9 DG handling. Ensure the packaging meets IATA standards with proper labeling. For high-value electronics, always purchase Marine/Cargo Insurance covering the full invoice value to protect against theft or damage during transit.

Look for the 'Audited Supplier' badge, which indicates the supplier has been verified by third-party agencies like SGS or Intertek. Review their Export Experience and check if they have a history of shipping to your specific region. Always conduct communications through the official platform messaging system to maintain a record for dispute resolution.
