Bar counter for restaurant manufacturers

For high-traffic restaurant environments, prioritize Artificial Stone (Solid Surface) or Quartz for the countertop due to their non-porous, stain-resistant, and antibacterial properties. The internal structure should ideally be made of 304 Stainless Steel or E0/E1 grade moisture-proof plywood to prevent warping in damp environments. Avoid low-density particle boards which fail quickly under commercial moisture levels.

A professional bar counter should feature a standard height of 105-110cm for the front bar and 85-90cm for the working area (back bar). Ensure the design includes a recessed toe kick at the base for customer comfort and integrated cable management holes for POS systems. For efficiency, verify that the layout accommodates under-counter equipment like ice bins, glass washers, and keg coolers with a minimum depth of 600-700mm.

Ensure the product meets NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) standards for food safety surfaces. For lighting components integrated into the counter (LED strips), verify CE, UL, or SAA certification depending on your region. Additionally, all wooden components should adhere to FSC certification for sustainable sourcing and fire-retardant coatings (Class A or B) to comply with local building fire codes.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. You should provide CAD or 3D Max drawings to ensure precise fit. Look for suppliers who offer modular designs, which allow for easier shipping and on-site assembly, reducing the risk of measurement errors during the manufacturing phase.

Bar counters are bulky and often fragile. Insist on Full Wooden Crate Packaging with internal foam corner protection and vacuum-sealed plastic wrapping. Request the supplier to use reinforced pallets for forklift handling. It is highly recommended to purchase All-Risk Marine Insurance to cover potential structural damage during transit.

Focus on the Total Landed Cost rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for spare parts (such as extra LED controllers or matching laminate sheets) and ask for a detailed installation manual or video. For large projects, request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) where the supplier assembles the counter in their factory and sends video proof of the seamless joints before final payment.

Due to the size, LCL (Less than Container Load) can be expensive and risky; FCL (Full Container Load) is safer for large counters. Ensure the supplier provides a Fumigation Certificate if solid wood packaging is used to avoid customs delays. Verify the HS Code (typically 9403.60 for wooden furniture or 9403.20 for metal) to calculate accurate import duties in your country.

Utilize Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. Conduct a factory audit or hire a third-party inspector to verify the supplier's Business License and Export Qualification to ensure they are a legitimate manufacturer and not a middleman with no quality control.
