Acrylic jar manufacturers

When selecting acrylic jars, prioritize PMMA (Polymethyl Methacrylate) for its superior clarity and UV resistance. For high-end cosmetics, ensure the jar features a double-wall construction to provide a luxury feel and better thermal insulation. If the jars are for food storage, they must be BPA-free and FDA-approved. Additionally, check the wall thickness; a thickness of 3mm to 5mm is standard for durability and a glass-like aesthetic.

Request a vacuum leak test report from the supplier to ensure the lids (whether screw-cap or pressure-fit) prevent oxidation and leakage. For products containing essential oils or high alcohol content, perform a compatibility test as acrylic can craze or crack when exposed to certain chemicals. Ensure the inclusion of PE liners or silicone gaskets to enhance the airtight seal.

Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer various decoration methods. Silk-screen printing is cost-effective for 1-2 colors, while Hot Stamping provides a premium metallic finish. For complex gradients, UV spray painting or frosting can be applied to the outer wall. Ensure the supplier uses eco-friendly, non-toxic inks that pass adhesion tests (e.g., the Cross-Hatch tape test).

For the US market, ensure compliance with CFR 21 (FDA) for food contact. For the EU, products must adhere to REACH and EU No. 10/2011 regulations regarding plastic materials. If you are targeting the eco-conscious segment, inquire about PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) acrylic options and certifications like GRS (Global Recycled Standard).

Acrylic is highly susceptible to scratches. Insist that the supplier uses individual PE bag packaging for each jar and egg-crate dividers within the master carton. For bulk shipments, specify the use of five-layer corrugated export cartons and palletization with shrink wrap to minimize movement and friction during transit.

Standard MOQs for acrylic jars usually range from 3,000 to 10,000 pieces due to injection molding setup costs. To get better pricing, consolidate your sizes to use the same neck finish, allowing for bulk cap production. Use the Made-in-China.com Secured Trading Service to protect your payment until the goods pass a pre-shipment inspection.

Before full production, approve a Golden Sample and have it sealed. Hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to conduct a During Production Check (DUPRO) and a Final Random Inspection (FRI). Focus on checking for injection gate marks, air bubbles, and color consistency (Pantone matching) across the batch.

Acrylic jars are 'light cargo,' meaning you will likely be charged based on volumetric weight. To optimize shipping costs, ask the supplier to nest components if possible or use custom-sized cartons that eliminate wasted space. For large orders, Sea Freight (FCL) is significantly more economical than air freight for this product category.
