Half body cpr manikin manufacturers

When sourcing half-body CPR manikins, prioritize models that offer realistic anatomical landmarks such as the sternum, rib cage, and substernal notch. Ensure the device features a built-in feedback system (electronic or mechanical clicker) to monitor compression depth (5-6cm) and compression rate (100-120 bpm). For ventilation training, the manikin must have a functional airway that requires a head-tilt/chin-lift to open, and a visible chest rise when air is correctly administered.

The product must strictly adhere to the latest AHA (American Heart Association) or ERC (European Resuscitation Council) guidelines. For global trade, ensure the supplier provides CE marking for the European market and FDA registration if importing to the United States. Additionally, verify that the materials used are latex-free and non-toxic, complying with ISO 13485 quality management systems for medical devices.

Look for manikins constructed from high-quality PVC or elastomers that can withstand at least 100,000 compressions without material fatigue. The skin should be stain-resistant and easy to clean with alcohol wipes. Check if the supplier offers replaceable lung bags and face skins to ensure hygiene and extend the product's lifespan during mass training sessions.

Sourcing options range from Basic Mechanical models (using a 'clicker' sound for depth) to Advanced Digital models. Digital versions often include Bluetooth connectivity to apps or tablets, providing real-time data on hand placement, recoil, and ventilation volume. For B2B buyers, Digital Feedback manikins are increasingly preferred by medical schools and corporate safety trainers.

Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third-party agency to verify that the feedback electronics and airway valves function correctly. Utilize Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released after the goods pass quality checks. Requesting a sample unit is non-negotiable for first-time bulk orders to test the 'feel' of the chest resistance.

Focus on consumable bundling; negotiate for a higher number of included replacement lung bags (e.g., 50-100 units) rather than just a lower unit price. Inquire about tiered pricing—discounts for CPR manikins typically start at 10-15% for orders over 50 units. Ask for a 2-year warranty instead of the standard 1-year to ensure long-term reliability.

CPR manikins are relatively bulky; therefore, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most cost-effective method for bulk orders. Ensure the supplier provides the correct HS Code (typically 9023.00) to avoid customs delays. If the manikin contains lithium batteries for digital feedback, ensure the shipment includes a UN38.3 test report and follows dangerous goods packaging regulations.
