Double 6 dominoes manufacturers

High-quality dominoes are typically made from Urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin or Melamine, which provide the necessary weight, 'clack' sound, and durability. For premium sets, look for brass spinners (the small metal pin in the center) which facilitate easier shuffling and protect the face of the tiles. Ensure the tiles have a uniform thickness and density to prevent 'tracking' (players identifying tiles by imperfections).

Since dominoes are classified as toys or games, they must meet strict safety standards. For the US market, compliance with ASTM F963 and CPSIA (lead and phthalate limits) is mandatory. For the EU market, products must bear the CE Mark and comply with EN71 Parts 1, 2, and 3. Always request Physical and Chemical Test Reports from accredited third-party labs like SGS or TUV.

The pips should be deeply recessed and evenly inked to prevent fading over time. Check for color consistency across the entire set. The surface should have a high-gloss or smooth matte finish without air bubbles or scratches. For B2B buyers, it is critical to verify that the ink used is non-toxic and resistant to sweat and friction.

For the mass retail market, a tin box or color-printed cardboard box is cost-effective. For the gift or professional market, prioritize wooden cases (rosewood or walnut) or synthetic leather cases with felt lining. Ensure the packaging includes a secure latch to prevent the 28 tiles from spilling during transit.

The primary risk is weight inconsistency and material substitution (using cheaper, lighter plastics). Another risk is insufficient curing time for the resin, leading to tiles that warp or crack. To mitigate this, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services and insist on a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify the weight and quantity of the sets.

Standard MOQs for custom-branded dominoes usually range from 500 to 1,000 sets. You can negotiate a lower price by standardizing the tile size (e.g., Professional size: 2" x 1" x 3/8") to utilize the supplier's existing molds. Ask for tiered pricing based on volume, and clarify if the price includes customized logo engraving on the back of the tiles.

Dominoes are relatively heavy for their size, which increases density-based shipping costs. For large orders, Sea Freight (FCL or LCL) is the most economical. Ensure the master cartons are double-walled corrugated fiberboard and reinforced with plastic strapping to prevent bursting due to the high weight-to-volume ratio.

Always verify the supplier's Business License and Export Qualifications on the platform. Utilize Escrow-based payment methods where funds are only released upon confirmation of receipt and quality. For large-scale enterprise procurement, consider hiring a third-party auditor to perform a factory audit to confirm the supplier's production capacity and social compliance.
