Diesel hammer crusher manufacturers

When evaluating a diesel hammer crusher, you must prioritize the crushing ratio and output size adjustment. Ensure the equipment features high-manganese steel hammers (Mn13Cr2 or Mn18Cr2) for superior wear resistance. The diesel engine horsepower should be matched to the required throughput; for instance, a 20-30 HP engine is typically sufficient for small-scale operations (5-10 t/h), while industrial needs require 50+ HP. Additionally, verify the grate bar gap settings, as these determine the final product fineness.

The diesel engine is the heart of the machine. You should request engines that meet international emission standards (such as Tier 3 or Stage III) to ensure compliance with local environmental laws. Prioritize well-known brands like Weichai, Changchai, or Cummins because their global after-sales service networks make it easier to source spare parts like filters and injectors locally, reducing downtime.

For B2B procurement, the machine must carry a CE Certification for the European market or meet OSHA-aligned safety standards for the Americas. Key safety features should include protective guards for the flywheel and belts, an emergency stop mechanism, and reinforced housing to prevent debris ejection. Ensure the supplier provides an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing process to guarantee structural integrity.

Diesel hammer crushers are ideal for mobile mining sites, construction waste recycling, and limestone processing where electricity is unavailable. They are best suited for brittle, medium-hard materials (compressive strength <100MPa) like limestone, coal, gypsum, and brick. They are not recommended for highly abrasive or extremely hard rocks like granite or basalt, as this will lead to excessive hammer wear and high maintenance costs.

Always mandate a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third-party agency like SGS or Bureau Veritas. For transactions on Made-in-China.com, utilize the Secured Trading Service to ensure payment is only released after the goods are verified. Request a video of the machine running a load test (crushing actual stones) before the final balance is paid.

Due to the weight and volume, FOB (Free On Board) is often preferred for experienced buyers to control freight costs. Ensure the diesel engine is drained of all fuel and oil according to international maritime dangerous goods (IMDG) regulations to avoid shipping delays. The machine should be fixed in a wooden crate or secured with steel wires in a container to prevent shifting during transit.

Negotiate for a 'Wear Parts Package' to be included in the initial container; this should include at least two extra sets of hammers, a set of grate bars, and engine filters. Demand a minimum 12-month warranty on core components (engine and main shaft). Ask the supplier to provide English-language maintenance manuals and video tutorials for assembly and troubleshooting.

Check the HS Code (typically 847420) against your country's tariff schedule to calculate total landed costs. Be aware of anti-dumping duties that may apply to heavy machinery in certain regions. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin (CO), such as Form E or Form F, which can significantly reduce or exempt import duties under various Free Trade Agreements.
