Bathroom doors manufacturers

Selecting the appropriate material is critical due to the high-humidity environment. Aluminum Alloy is the most popular choice for cross-border sourcing because it is waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and lightweight, making it cost-effective for shipping. For high-end projects, Tempered Glass (8mm-12mm) with frosted or tinted finishes offers a modern aesthetic while ensuring safety. If choosing wood, ensure it is WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) or has a high-pressure laminate (HPL) coating to prevent warping and mold growth.

Buyers must prioritize safety and durability standards. Ensure glass components meet EN 12150 (EU) or ANSI Z97.1 (US) certifications for tempered glass. Hardware such as hinges and handles should be made of Stainless Steel 304 to pass a 96-hour salt spray test, ensuring they won't rust in damp conditions. Additionally, check for sound insulation ratings (STC) if the doors are intended for hotel or multi-family residential projects.

A superior bathroom door must have a tight sealing system to prevent water leakage. Look for suppliers using EPDM rubber gaskets rather than cheap PVC strips, as EPDM maintains elasticity over time. The frame thickness for aluminum doors should be at least 1.2mm to 1.4mm to ensure structural integrity. For sliding doors, verify that the track system uses silent nylon rollers with a load-bearing capacity exceeding the door weight by at least 20%.

To meet diverse market needs, confirm if the supplier offers OEM/ODM services. Key customization points include opening directions (left/right, inward/outward), frame finishes (powder coating, anodizing, or wood grain transfer), and glass patterns. For commercial buyers, requesting pre-drilled lock holes or integrated louver vents for ventilation is a common requirement that can save significant on-site installation costs.

The biggest risk is breakage during transit, especially for glass components. You must mandate LCL/FCL packaging standards that include honeycomb cardboard, foam corner protectors, and wooden crates or pallets. Another risk is measurement errors; always require a technical drawing sign-off before mass production begins to ensure the dimensions match your local architectural standards.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for a lower MOQ on sample orders to test quality first. For bulk orders, ask for spare hardware kits (1-2% extra) to be included free of charge. If you are a repeat buyer, negotiate staggered payment terms, such as 30% deposit and 70% upon presentation of the Bill of Lading (B/L) after a successful third-party pre-shipment inspection.

Bathroom doors are bulky and heavy, making Sea Freight (FCL) the most economical method. When shipping to countries with strict import regulations, ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to benefit from potential tariff preferences. For large-scale projects, consider DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms if you want the supplier to handle the complexities of customs clearance and local delivery to your warehouse.

Always prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com, as these companies have undergone on-site verification by independent agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Utilize Secured Trading Services to protect your payments until the goods are shipped. Before finalizing a large contract, request a video factory audit to inspect their production line and QC laboratory in real-time.
